Alex & Dima did a really great job at moving. Asking questions along the without wasting any time for us. I would definitely recommend them. And for 79$ a hour, I think this is the best service we can get.
We would definitely hire them again.
This company is great! My sister and I moved from our condo to a single family home, and our movers were awesome. Barry, Dennis and Ars got in, protected our property and got us into our new home. Very professional, very fast, and friendly. I would highly recommend using this company, they're affordable and dependable!
Barry and Denis were very nice and efficient. They moved me out in under three hours (only had a studio size place). Nothing broke. Everything is nicely placed :)

First time using movers. Barry and Paul were awesome, quick, and efficient! We had to do everything last minute and in a rush, they made the process much less stressful than expected. I was very satisfied with Happy Home Moving Company. Eric and Max were punctual and very professional- they took care of everything and even assembled some of the furniture at the new house. It is very reasonably priced. Overall, a great experience!
I just finished up with Happy Home Moving and it was such a pleasure. Kan & Ars were speedy & efficient, utilizing the 3 hours to the max. All my boxes were carefully packed up on the truck, and all furniture made it without a scratch! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is moving in the LA area.
10-Step Checklist for Hiring a Moving Company in Los Angeles
Posted on Aug 25, 2019 by Administrator

A detailed step-by-step guide to help you choose a reputable moving company in the L.A. area:
1. Get Recommendations
Ask your family, friends, coworkers and any real estate agents you know and trust. Realtors get feedback from their clients on movers. You cannot assume that a well-known company with a big splashy website would be the best, or that some referral service offering to find a mover for you can be trusted.
2. Do Background Checks
Once you’ve compiled a list of all the recommendations you’ve received, start your background checks. You can go online and check them out on the Better Business Bureau at bbb.org, the American Moving & Storage Association at moving.org as well as movingscam.com, which is a website set up to warn consumers about disreputable moving companies.
3. Get Onsite Estimates
Choose your top 3 to 5 moving companies and have a representative come out to your home to survey what you’re planning to move so they can give you accurate estimates. If you are moving locally your estimate will be determined by the amount of time your move will take. If you are moving out of the area but within the state, the total weight of your belongings and the distance will determine the amount of the estimate. Most moving companies are happy to come out and provide a free quote.
4. The Estimator Must See Everything Being Moved
If you want an accurate estimate you must show the estimator everything you’re planning on moving in the truck. You will need to open your cupboards and closets, take them down to the basement and up into the attic and don’t forget the backyard. This would also be the appropriate time to warn them about anything that might make the move more difficult, like stairs, narrow hallways and any obstacles you can think of.
5. Ask About Hidden Charges
To avoid having unexpected add-on costs, inquire whether they provide “not-to-exceed” estimates. These types of quotes include the cost of the entire move plus anything they might add on later, any potential charges that could accrue during the move.
6. Inquire About the Company History
Gather as much information about the moving company’s experience as you can. You want a company that’s been in business at least 5 years. Make sure all the relevant contact information is on the estimate so that you can easily reach them up to moving day. Find out if they use subcontractors at any point throughout the move, whether it is for packing services or more. Make sure you have a written copy of their cancellation and any other policies.
7. Find Out About Their Experience
What type of move you’re making? Find out if they have the specific experience you need. This is especially important if you are moving into a multistory townhouse or apartment complex or building. If so, your movers must have the experience and the right equipment to overcome parking restrictions, elevators, staircases and any other obstacles that may pose a problem.
8. Check for the Appropriate License, Insurance & Certification
Do not risk hiring a rogue moving company or scammer. The U.S. Department of Transportation regulates interstate movers whereas the laws of each state regulate the local movers in their state.
9. Speak to References
It is vital that you ask for references on any moving company you’re considering. Without a number of excellent references you shouldn’t trust anyone with your belongings. Ask for phone numbers of previous clients and don’t be shy about asking questions. Get details so that you are confident about the recommendation.
10. Choose Your Moving Company
Once you’ve taken all the steps discussed above, you should be confident in making your choice. Once you schedule your move, you need to have them provide a signed order for their services along with a bill of lading.
